Goodbye Winter, hello Spring!

native flowers

Oooh we are huge fans of spring time around here. And to celebrate I decided to decorate our lounge/meeting area with some native flowers. There's a lovely little corner flower shop around here that specialises in natives so I asked the owner to put together this bunch for us - lovely.

Yes, it seems so topsy turvy! We are saying good-bye to summer here in the States, and hello to the best season of all...fall! Great pic of the local flowers.

Well yes they are lovely flowers but the nit picker in me has to point out that proteas aren't native to Australia, they are South African.

Gorgeous bouquet girls! Dara (first comment) if you only knew how much 'fresh' eucalyptus we see in Australia everywhere everyday! It's almost boring for most Aussies. A bit like snow for you guys I guess :)
